The Pleasant Bay Volunteer Firefighters begin the game wearing their boots and hats, handicapping themselves due to previous lopsided victories.   An easy pitch to the one of the Abbey players   Pawo at the Plate   Gehlek at the Plate   Ngedon makes it home!   Friends at the Beginning, Friends in the Middle, Friends at the End   Canada Day, July 1, 2006 annual baseball game between Gampo Abbey and the Volunteer Fire Fighters of Pleasant Bay. Much to the surprise of many the Abbey's team won the game 8 to 6 the first victory ever!
