Karma Senge Rinpoche's Visit to Gampo Abbey and Kalapa Valley

Karma Senge Rinpoche, the nephew of the founder of Gampo Abbey, Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, visited Gampo Abbey to teach and bestow the abhisheka for the central practice of one of the terma that the Vidyadhara discovered in Tibet, "The Sadhana of Nonmeditation: A Practice of No Activity,". Rinpoche conferred this abhisheka upon approximately 40 students from Gampo Abbey and the surrounding area. Upon the completion of his visit to Gampo Abbey, Karma Senge Rinpoche visited Kalapa Valley along with many of the monks and nuns from Gampo Abbey. On the way to Kalapa Valley, everyone stopped at the Celtic Lodge for tea in the same room where the Vidyadhara had taught in the early 1980s.

The photographs in the web album below include most aspects of Karma Senge's visit and were contributed by a number of different people. No photographs were during during the actual abhisheka.
